A little bit about me and Scopia, if I may...
My experience in travel ranges over 22 years and in many aspects of the travel industry. I have worked as a wholesale tour operator, air consolidator, retail branch manager, oper
ations manager and vice president at some of the best known companies in the U.S and in Israel. Some of the companies I have worked for include Heavenly Tours, Ophir Tours (CWT Israel), eGlobalfares and Fox World Travel.
Since day one in my tourism career, I have become an expert in private tours to Israel, Egypt, Jordan and other Mediterranean destinations such as Malta, Tunisia, Italy, Greece and Turkey. I am also a specialist in international flights and am very proud of the fact that over the past five years, I have saved clients of the companies where I worked, millions of dollars on their ticket prices. Yes, you heard right - millions. Because no matter how much everyone talks about the internet as the demise of "human" travel agents, there is nothing that can match the absolute geographical and technical knowledge of a human being. Nothing.
Since 2004, I have also been working on creating a travel website that will allow for door-to-door intermodal itineraries, combining into one itinerary air, rail, bus car, ferry, taxi and any other mode of transportation. That part of the company can be seen the Go Scopia website. I am fascinated with the possibility of doing this and together with
